  3. ya there was a couple aussie cowboys in camp that could train a horse to lay down in 15 minutes, pretty neat to witness they actually performed in the calgary stampede and hooked up with this outfitter, stayed in his camp for 2 months or so just earning their keep
  4. Spent 5 days up the Clearwater River, made it up to Lost Guide for a day, basically had a fish on every cast. Enjoy!

  8. here, right from the bc reg definitions, so if it just says barbless, treble is ok, "single hook" means no trebles single hook … a hook having only one point. (In contrast, a treble hook is a hook having three points on a common shaft.) Note: use of a treble hook is permitted unless “single hook” is specified.
  9. in a lake? or a class II water? I wouldn't chance it on class II water, lakes you're fine
  10. there's a nice hardy 7wt with hardy reel on kijiji for 300 buy it and go slay some bow river browns!
  11. 2/3wt if you plan on dry fly fishing the high mountain streams (cutthroats/brook trout) 7/8wt if you are going to fish the bow a lot (easier to cast larger flies, better in the wind) and/or stalking big bull trout/pike Buy a good one to start with (Sage) or less expensive now and upgrade later (costs more in the end)
  12. nice ones!

    Gopro Fun

had an interesting encounter with an eagle a few weekends ago...out on the lake he kept swooping down over my head once he figured out I had kept a trout (foul hooked 18" bow)...even as I was taking apart my toon, he kept flying down low close to my head...gopro op...

  17. I'm wanting to take my toon through there with the gopro too lemme know when you're gonna float that!
  18. if you are techy you can make some really cool point of view edits with the gopro i use mine all the time, chest mount and head mount work well fishing, pole mount works good to video other people, underwater shots etc ive been very hard on mine snowboarding etc and it still works perfect (HD HERO) get the expensive memory card, 16 gig min, class 6
