  1. I use that type of tape at work to fasten caps to window mullions , as funny as it sounds, try a steel stud framing supplier like kenroc, or pacific west. The 2 sided tape i use is foam but it is white not black. Hope it helps. Cheers
  2. hummingbird makes a portable one that does the job, the read out is a watch type doohickie and you basically just drag the finder behind you and it gives you a readout on your wrist! its worked alright for me, its portability is unmatched if your looking for something simple.! Cheers
  3. nicely done! im waiting for all those firsts! btw how do you like your net? i was thinking of the same one
  4. the best way to avoid any burps is to hire a broker who deals in marine vehicles who will know all the ins and outs, and will provide you will ALL necessary paperwork for crossing.
  5. +1 420flyfishin, its always so disheartning to go out anywhere after may long and see the destruction left behind from weekend warriors.
  6. personally I don't really like to shop at bass pro all that much, its so impersonal most of the time. Wholesale sports isn't far behind with being impersonal, although I have had good experiences at both from time to time. But one thing that both these Huge chains don't have is passion. When you walk into an independent shop, it screams passion. That is why I have no problem paying more at places I have better experiences in. I own a retail business and I am told quite frequently that although larger stores may be cheaper, nothing compares to customer service and passion.
  7. I was getting pelted all morning at McKinnon on Saturday! I witnessed quite a few floating near the banks, which compelled me to try a stimmy, had one refusal, I was just excited to get a surface strike! They are definitely active, as I managed a couple bows on a Kaufman black stone nymph. I did also see an adult golden stone taking refuge in a rock overhang as well. Cheers!
