  1. Yup, I've got the 5wt Snowbee line, single hand spey casts real nice, would probably work well on that Sage. Colin
  2. Had my car broken into twice in one week in Vancouver, hadn't even gotten around to replacing the window when they busted in the other one, damn crack heads!! Sucks about the house insurance deductible, too bad they didn't get your 8 other very high end fly rods with matching reels when they stole your truck. And the insurance companies wonder why theres so much insurance fraud. Colin
  3. Guess you're not interested in the EMP function? Right now in Warshington DC theres some techno FBI weenie having a cow over this thread. Colin p.s. hope t have that quote to you by Thursday, just waiting on some pricing.
  4. Very cool!! You sure like your glass rods don't you? Colin
  5. Lucky B#stard!! Weekend is finally here and we're looking at a high of -24, but it will warm up on Monday . Good to here you got out Court. I know you were itchin to get on that stream. Send me the pics I can post them for you. Colin
  6. Thats funny, I always thought it was just that the sheep were smaller
  7. Thats a great offer!! If you need any help with patterns Eric I have lots on hand as well as more than enough material to tie up a few dozen of each. Colin
  8. Nice!! Sure he fell off that one a few times on the Friday night, right Gordon? Colin
  9. Should have enough, only thing is if you're casting that line on your Beulah you'll be shooting into the backing no problem. Always figure that if a trout can spool me perhaps it deserves to get away in the end. 255 feet is a pretty good run for any fish. Colin
  10. 55 yards should be plenty, which line are you putting on it and what is the length? If you're really concerned you could always go to a gel spun backing and you'd get 100yrds on it. Colin
  11. Hey Al good to finally meet you today, we'll have to get out soon, maybe a playdate for the little ones. Colin
  12. I thought it had something to do with a miniature windmill Colin
  13. Let the planning begin!! let me know what you need. Colin
  14. Hey Lynn, I was the guy that sent you over there. Glad to hear you guys made it home safe, we were a little worried. Colin
  15. Hey TM, I've got a couple old 9' IM6 blanks here with nice progressive action right to the butt that I think would make a nice small 3wt spey rod, might have to give it a try. Colin
  16. I hope to have enough on hand here so that doesn't need to be the case, as well we hope to have a shop or two on board with Snowbee products this year. Colin
  17. I have a 12' Snowbee Torridge 6/7/8 for us to play around with at the next spey beach gathering as well as a couple matching Scandinavian lines to go with it. Colin
  18. Sorry its the XS-ED (extra distance) line. Colin
  19. What did you think of that Snowbee XD line matched up with the Beulah 7wt? I was able to put it over the fence with one back cast, very sweet line. Should have taken the chance to cast the Sharkskin to see what all the hype is about, maybe tomorrow. Colin
  20. So you changed your mind on Ross's Beulah 5/6?. Theres a few guy that fish the Deer Creek here so they should be able to give you some advice on lines, although I would think that the Beulah Elixir line or a CND GPS 5/6 would work well. Canada Post is a wonderful thing and overseas packages are easy to put together. Colin
  21. I'll drop you an email, and we can meet up, probably the weekend would be best. Colin
  22. Best bet would be to let me have a look at it and assess it from there. Colin
  23. You could do a repair, but there's no real guarantee of how long it will last. It would be fairly easy to remove the old epoxy and thread from the ferrule wrap and re-wrap it, how long of a crack is it? Any repair would have to stop it from moving anymore. Colin
  24. Is the female end cracked at all? If not you might be able to cut the male end a little to allow the female part to fit over better/deeper. (why do I all of a sudden feel so dirty?). If it is a cracked ferrule and depending on how bad a crack, you will probably need a re-wrap/finish of the area to strengthen it up again. If you want me to take a look at it drop me a PM. Colin
  25. My fave if you can find it. http://www.scapamalt.com/history/index.aspx Colin
