  1. Hey guys / gals. We just received a couple big bags or Polar Bear hair. Ive been busy dying it in all sorts of colors. Lots of Long and medium long pieces. Just thought I would let you steelheaders / Kootenay Lake guys know because it sells out pretty quick. Just another reminder the shop hours have changed to summer hours Monday to Saturday 8-6 Sunday 8 - 4
  2. We are now on our summer hours, which means we open at 8:00 am 7 days a week and are open until 6:00 pm Monday though Saturday and until 4:00 on Sunday.
  3. yes, those squawky terns are Franklin Gulls , and i believe they keep the fish from rising on the surface. Just my two bits

  5. Hello all, Thanks to Courtney Ogilvie from Nile Creek Fly shop for bringing his knowledge of 2 hand casting to our shop this past weekend. We have some of the Beulah switch in 6/7 & 7/8 wts in stock now. What a beautiful rod for the Bow. As well we are stocking some of the Beulah Tonic heads in different grain wieghts as well as some of the Elixir lines. This combination does not break the bank and is well worth checking out.   6. Great rod and line combo, it is the cats meow. Dont mean to highjack this thread but the Beulah rods and lines are all in the shop starting tommorrow and thru the weekend. Lots of demos to cast out on the lawn, I just finished talking to Courtney and he said that they were also available to fish with for a few hours. If you have not cast these rods and lines, this weekend is your chance, they do perform well. Once again sorry for the highjack. Thanks Mike
  7. Right now we have 3 spots left. The June 13th spot should hit it just perfect. If you haven't sight fished to these big gator's it really is a rush. By the by folks Mike & I have been tying pike flies all winter so we have pretty good stock of some great patterns. Lot's of long polar bear too! Thanks, Dave.
  8. All though we have only had their product in our shop for a short while, 6 months to be exact we have had limited warrenty returns, so good news on that front. If the product in question is in stock from our supplier it has been shipped back within a week to 10 day's. Pretty good service I would say. A few of the oddball no longer available products are a little tougher to come by. We had a customer break his out of production Trout Bum 5wt in his car door and we had him back up & running a week later thanks to the folks in Ontario. Thanks, Dave SouthBow Fly & Tackle

Limit of 6 anglers per week. Couple of openings left this week of June 13-18 So get your buddies together and experience an adventure that you will never forget. Its a riot . All repairs are to be dropped @ SouthBow & will be returned in a timely fashion. Any type of rods welcome whether it's cane, fly, spin, trolling, spey etc...   13. We have pulled a name from the bowl for the winner of the early 1800's green heart rod. Many thanks to Dennis from the Eau Claire rod company for donating both his time to refurbish this rod and as well for donating it! The show was a great success for our new shop & we thank all that took the time to stop by and say hello. Hope everyone found some deals. Wayne Redding & Rob from Superfly need a big thanks for tying in our booth. Thanks guy's!! A special thanks to Silver Doctor for tying some beautiful flies in our booth, he really hung in there all day Saturday allway's smiling.
