  1. Beats a bedsheet.. Insert gay pokey guy below;
  2. LoL... Thanks for providing my friday laugh!
  3. When people are weighing the pro's and con's of getting the H1N1 vaccine, what are the con's? Everyone talks of how they "feel" about it, but lay down some facts as why you should not get it.
  4. well I went to a chiropractor, and a well known one at that for a buttock/hamstring/calf issue. Some days it was so bad I could barely walk, crazy muscle spazms. This chiropractor says it is a periformis muscle injury and it is pulling on all the muscles in the ass cheek, hammy and calf after his thurough exam. 2x a week for active release therapy (AKA medeival torture) and then massage was his therapy. Long story short a customer of mine- a radiologist and sees how bunged up I am, I tell him the story and he gets me in for an MRI. The MRI shows a massive bulged disc in my back causing nerve impingement. My chiro missed this by a mile. So after I get on the right track with PROPER therapy I find out how common this is and my guy struck out on a basic diagnosis of a common issue. Sure felt good when he cracked my back though, so I guess all that school is not for nothing. Back to the topic- I drove by the Mall again and still a crazy line up for the vaccine. I think I will bite the bullet tomorrow and put the long undies on and sit it out.
  5. I had a chiropractor tell me that he could treat/cure my asthma through chiropractic adjustment. Quite a few chiropractors are quacks...
  6. Well Wolfie I have seen a few- Where I grew up (Priddis) I would snare and shoot them in the prime months for extra money while I was in school. I would estimate that I have snared, shot, skinned and stretched in the neibhorhood of 500 coyotes over 5 or 6 years back then so ya I have a good idea of what I am talking about. With many years of doing this, the biggest I personally encountered west of Calgary was maybe 35- 38 lbs. The yotes out on the prairies, Medicine Hat/Brooks are smaller yet than the ones in the area that I harvested them. They look big in the Winter (more visible as well with the snow) because they have a pound or so more fur. Sorry Wolfie but 100 the pound coyote is a definate wives tale. The dog in the picture you posted weighs maybe 50 pounds at best, and with it being on a leash I would say it eats alpo or kibble, not mice and voles.. The average yote in Southern alberta weighs around 20ish pounds, +- a few pounds depending on age and sex. So Wolfie; you have a wolf and it's prime job is to hunt an kill coyotes? Hmmm...This has peeked my curiosity...please elaborate...
  7. No coyote weighs 100 lbs, not even close, not ever, anywhere. A giant coyote in Alberta/saskatchewan would be 30 lbs. The average Western yote is about 18lbs- (female) 22lbs-(male)
  8. Well Din I don't know if you have driven by one of the clinics, but looks like lots are lining up to get the vaccine. Soon (hopefully) it will be available at doctors offices and pharmacies. Once you don't have to wait outside for a day I am sure more will get on board with getting the vaccine for themselves and their families. And I have never heard of a pharmacy selling injectable vitamin shots over the counter.. I am curious if all those against vaccines also opt not to get their dogs rabies and parvo vaccines? Any vaccine is no different than an insurance policy. The odds are very unlikely that your home will burn to the ground but you would be a fool not to insure your home an contents from fire.
  9. Coyotes out east are actually substantially larger that western coyotes. An eastern dog can weight 10-15 lbs more than one from around here.
  10. This exercise truly shows how incompetent our upper management public officials are, really a bunch of dipshits. I drove by avenida today to see the line and it was a side show. There is lots of vacant warehouse space in all quadrants of the city with better parking and people would not have to wait outside in the winter for up to 6 hours in a parking lot... They have been scaring the *hit out of people through all available media for the past 6 months or so, highliting deaths, and worst case scenarios, basically insisting that we get the shot. I have a chronic condition (asthma) so I will try to get the shot. Phoning my family doctor you would think I could book a vaccine there, but at this point they have no access to it. How about distributing it to Family Doctors for what are considered "high risk" people, schools for the kids, and extended care facilities for the elderly? There answer is 4 clinics for 1 million people, this is their plan? Heads should roll over the planning of this. On the news the Health Minister says this is the most efficeint way to roll it out, well he obviously does not know what efficient is if he stepped in it, these phuckers are so out of touch it sickens me... All I can say if they cannot figure out how to get the vaccine out in a timely fashion what would happen if there was a true epidemic outbreak?*hit the hospitals and emergency rooms are beyond capacity right now without any H1N1 cases filling the place up.....
  11. The sad reality is with the current economic climate and the squeeze being put on the PC's more Government enforcement on our waterways would be very close to, if not at the bottom of the priority list.
  12. I like coyotes as well. The problem they have is they also make great trim around the hoods of big down jackets...
  13. Relocate a coyote? 00 buckshot relocation to doggie heaven maybe. edit- I guess your "permanent" relocation is the same thing I am getting at...
  14. If you are getting caps, shirts, and hoodies with the new logo you should look into getting these with a FFc logo applied as well. Looks like they are up to custom jobs; now this would be dope, straight up, know wat I'm saaaaayin...
  15. I agree with hogstopper on this one. The whole ghetto, gangster, graffiti theme is lame, dude. If they are wearin' it on cops when they are arrested it should not be incorporated into flyfishing swag.
  16. If I was to do anything like that it would be a little more permanent. "Gee dad why has that coyote been sleeping in the same spot for 2 days now?".........
  17. I live on a golf course and there are lots of coyotes and they have ZERO fear of anything. They cruise the neibourhood streets at night and I know they pick off cats, rabbits, and heaven forbid if your Bichon Frise is out loose. They also shadow some of the dog walkers that walk the perimeter of the course, during the day. If the City whacked a few to get a good fear back into them it would be a good thing. There is no shortage of these vermin and the middle of the city is no place for this ammount of them running around. I have no probelm with a few walking around, doing their thing, but I betcha there is over a dozen of them in this immediate area.
  18. No, I have a couple of bones stuck in my teeth from the 12lb rainbow we bbq'd for dinner last night. Looked like trout, tasted like perch..
  19. Is there any evidence that these trout are eating Perch? I am sure there is evidence that people are eating these trout..
  20. Geez I hate to hear things like this. Hope all turns out OK.
  21. Single hand spey casting with a nymph rig; now that is talent! Just let me cast it and I will show you that the 99 will still tangle with a nymph rig.
