Ummm I think you missed the best one...... how about a Winston Boron IIT. Have you seen their videos on the small creeks. -
I hope the dinks that crashed in on my group today read this. Me and 3 friends were fishing a run today and a group of 8 guys decided to crash in and fish all around us. One guy was so pissed that we were there he went and sat in the bushes by himself for 2 hours and sulked (I thought he was being nice by not crashing in on us). After awhile he decided to fish a bit and he was the worst person in the whole group. If any of you guys are a members on this board you should be ashamed of your self and actions.

Fat Albert - Pinkerton Hook: Size 8 to 14 dry fly hook Thread: Black 6/0 Body: Pink Foam and Black Foam Wing: Crystal Flash and Antron Yarn Legs: Barred Pink/Black and Barred Black/White Medium Rubber Legs I learned on the St. Marys River that cutthroats and rainbows love to eat anything pink. I must say the same holds true to the fish in and around Calgary.

Don do you want to give the recipe for a of those chironomids? I have been cranking through a bunch of the wicked patterns in the book Modern Midges. Some of the ones you tied up look pretty nice as well. Cant wait till the ice breaks up to hit some lakes in BC.

I normally put the white on the bottom of my clousers, since the dumbell eyes flip ithe hook upside down in the water.

Thanks boyz! Should be cranking out a few of these soon.

What size are you guys tying these in? I am looking at ordering a bunch of materials and I figured I should probably add a few worms to my tying list over the next few months.

I thought the first fall was just the warm up for a big fall when you were crossing that log. Great Video…. Reminds me of some of my favorite places to fish in BC. -
yeah.... they look like they would be great for bulls.

ahhhh....I didnt get a chance to fish the skinny water this year. I would love to get out and try it some time. I can see the thingamabobber being great for fast runs in cuttie water. It would save me from swearing when a cutt attacks my normal thingamabobber. Better yet I should just attach a hook to the normal thingamabobber and call it a day.

On the cutthroat streams its all about the big splat of a hopper... then twitch... twich.... twitch... to make it move.

I saw them in the new fly fusion mag, but I haven’t seen them in person. I am interested to see how big they are. ie would they re-place a parachute post on a size 14 or 16 p.adams. or are they more for hoppers. You could call the shops to see if they carry them. I know troutfitters and fish tales carry the regular sized ones

I just came across these today while riding the big waves of the internet. I might try tying couple of these tonight? Has anyone ever tied these? If so do you want to give me the recipe and some pointers?

I finally got out of my chironmid kick and have been tying up a bunch of 2 ½ inch half and half’s over the past couple days. Lately I have replaced the buck tail with marabou, as I find it has a lot more action in the water or in this case my bath tub. I got this idea at troutfitters when I noticed they had some clouser’s made up with marabou. Has anyone fished these? Do they hold up?

What kind of boat is that? The DIY locker looks really nice. -
Have you considered a restriction on the "harvested" fish? ie between 12" and 18" can be kept?
