Chaba River. 18km to river. If there are fish in this river I would guess they are rainbows and bulls. Fortress lake is difficult to fish from shore.

If you guys wanna see pike. Go down stream of the 22x bridge on the west side until you see a channel. They sit in there on a hot day. I"ve seen up to 15 or so in there just layin around.

I catch em on dries occaisionally.

I catch probably 85% of my fish within 10-15 feet in front of me. The only time I need more distance is when im bowcrow'n maxwells spot.

Oh man Hinton is a great place to live. Two great rivers just north are the Wild Hay and the Berland river. Grayling like royal coachman dry flies for some reason. I usually put a dropper on that is a very small prince nymph.

If its sunny out you can wet wade easily.

Mine is also fish tales. Dave n Nancy are the best people.
