  1. Thanks man, my wife took the shot. It was on the Clackamas River in Dec.....it was frozen over in a couple spots and we had to drag the boat across the ice.....it was a great day!
  2. Great thread......cool pics......a few more of mine!
  3. I know what your saying man!
  4. Thats the truth lol....
  5. Hey man I have a Beulah 4/5 switch that you are welcome to try.
  6. I agree, rubber soles don't solve the problem.
  7. I have not cast the Beulah yet....am waiting on a line for it. I would like to use it as mainly a dry fly rod. Headscan sums it up nicely on the rod characteristics. My wife sorta kinda technically owns the Loop.....but I have heard possession is 9/10's of the law......
  8. My Bow River rods for this year include a Loop opti switch 10'7 6 weight and a Beulah switch 10'6 4/5.
  9. Sound advice. A word of caution though..............its highly addictive!!!
  10. Happy b-day dude.
  11. Thanks for posting the pics....they are odd looking creatures.
  12. Lets see some freshwater gadiform (Burbot) pics........anybody caught one?
  13. Man, I never get sick of looking at the beaut's you caught either.....tightlines dude!
  14. Great pics guys, some of mine......
  15. Cool show, my wife and I along with a friend attended on Saturday with intentions of taking in a few seminars....when the dust settled we attended part of one seminar and spent the rest of the time hanging out and talking to guys about steelhead, intruders and spey rods. We had a great time.
  16. Cool man....especially the intruder, great ties.
  17. Wicked pics dude!
  18. Great pics fellas! A few of my favs of '09
  19. I had a similar experience while steelheadin in sub zero temps, other guys (more expensive) reels where froze-up and had no drag. My Loop Evotec functioned flawlessly.
  20. Just got the vid and watched it. In my opinion I found it to be kind of a classic. No BS with a bunch of instruction from a guy that seems to be the real deal.
  21. [quote name='bhurt' date='Dec 1 2009, 02:14 PM' post='1086 I'll talk to gregg (toolman) and see if we can get a spey gathering togather for people that are intrested in trying out diffrent rods. That would be cool....its always good to try a few different rods and lines out
  22. My wife has the Loop 7120 multi and it is a sweet little rod, we have used it for salmon, steelhead and on the Bow.
  23. Thats good to hear, as I ordered one as well.
  24. My better half keeping her (hellbender lined) Classic busy........... steelheading on a river in NW BC!!
