  1. My Carron 17ft was my go to rod for 2010.......go big or go home!
  2. I have a Seagul that I picked up as new but used for 185.00 best bang for the buck for sure!
  3. Hi Ray, Adipose boatworks will be at the fly show in calgary and they have a very fine jon/jet that they can custimize for you and the price is more than outstanding and the performance amazing. Their boat is on plane at walking speeds and rows better than most boats of this nature. With that being said I have a G3 18ft centre console with tunnel and have been very happy with it and for an anchor system have been using the Minn kota anchormate, very slick and great when you are by yourself. Hope some of this helps.
  4. Poppy at the Red Shed will send you a cnd to try!
  5. Not a gimmick.....it does work, other companys such a Ari and Abel have and do have a similar setup available. As for the big reel seats for the speys, B&W rods have had this option for some time and all Carron rods come with the same long reel seet, great for those big footed perfects.......who cares about balancing on the big rods when you can use a full footed 4 1/2 inch perfect, lol.
  6. What the weather is supposed to be like for this weekend in Calgary? Just wondering what to pack for the fly expo lol.
  7. Still exists under the name sixth sense. The newer coating make this line better than it ever was!
  8. Come to the fly show and try one of the Loomis Whispercreek series of rods, they are just right for what you might be looking for.
  9. Of course you can, that is what we are there for.
  10. Last year we had all of the skagit compacts for people to try and this year we will have the skandi compact lines as well, will try to get a few of the tactical as well.
  11. You guys are both right. We should have samples and the new catalogue at the Calgary Flyfishing Expo.
  12. Do a quick search on Schluter products they have the info on what you need for a real waterproof system, Kerdi is amazing stuff. No references is trouble, just remember you will have to look at your bathroom for a LOOOOONG time.
  13. I live in BC so cant help you but as a flooring installer I can say that a guy who sort of does it all can sort of do it all and you get what you pay for. Best advice is to get a real tile guy.
