Wayne will demonstrate several different dubbing application methods including twisting and using dubbing ropes. If you've wondered what's happened to fish populations on the Bow since the 2005 flood this seminar will answer your questions. Join Paul Christensen, provincial senior fisheries biologist for the Bow River and its tributaries, for a presentation about the Bow. Paul will present results from annual electorshocking studies. He'll discuss population numbers, size and species distribution. Presentation will be followed up with a question and answer period.   13. This weekend marks the seventh annual Western Canadian Fly Fishing Exposition. This year's event is taking place at Spruce Meadows and runs from Friday, January 23 to Sunday, January 25. Fish Tales is exhibiting at the Expo and we've set up a good selection of our newer product offerings to showcase at the event. In addition, we've coordinated a slate of in-booth presentations.   15. Please join us on Sunday, January 18 when Dan Jackson, contributor to Canadian Fly Fisher, will be presenting an overview of spey lines and setups. Dan will discuss how to figure out the best match of line type and weight for a variety of fishing techniques including swinging streamers, nymph fishing, and dry fly fishing with spey rods. He'll cover the use of head style systems to keep your spey rod setup as versatile as possible. Dan is a certified fly casting instructor with the Federation of Fly Fishers and a keen Bow River angler. Seminar starts at 1 p.m.
