  8. Looks like you had a awesome day as well. Those bows, browns, and whites only wanted flies with a little motion to them, ie swung or twitched. Made it out to the ped bridge in fish creek and landed 10 in only 2 1/2 hours. Figured the fish had enough or my frozen feet did so I called it a day. Glad to see someone else out enjoying the day. Nice pics! Cheers, scorpiondeathlock
  9. http://www.cbc.ca/canada/calgary/story/200...l-franklin.html Just wondering what the enviromental effects from this incident would be if any gas got into the storm drains then into the river.
  10. I would also like to play. Not very good though. Are two A's a good hand?
  11. Had to be the heli trip into Ram river for me. Simpson, Filsface, Hopdrop, and myself decided on using Alhstrom air(awesome company by the way), due to the two dollar per pound rate that some other outfit(not worth the money) was trying to charge us. Flying into that canyon was something else and definatley was worth the money. Lots of cutties caught and scotch drank yada yada yada. So on the fourth and last night of our epic journey, after another night of good times, the craziest storm Ive ever seen came roaring through the canyon. At first the whole sky was light up with this greeny, yellowy lightning that filled the whole sky. Right after that, gale force wind, that charged right through the canyon walls and hit us. My buddy's walmart special tent did not fare so well in the ensuing, hail/hurricane storm that hit us, and actually rolled over with him in it. Safe to say we were all glad to hear the helicopter cutting its way through that foggy, wet morning. Turns out power was out in rocky and nordegg as well, we also heard that two campers were killed when a broken tree landed on their tent. Sad to hear but glad we made it out of one of the best camping trips of the year.
  12. haha "unsuspecting". I thought I seen some paparazzi on that one bend. Hopdrop, Filsface, and myself had a stellar day fishing with various nymphs. Great to be out this time of year. Looks like you guys had an enjoyable one as well. Thanks for posting!
  13. I still vote for the trout with the cowboy hat. It really screams about what fishing in Calgary is all about. haha

  20. nice pics guys. Looks like you had a blast. Anybody fall in? haha
  21. Yeah no kidding looks likes the flames lucked out and won another. That wont last though you can only get lucky so many times.
  22. i am loving how quinn disperses his heavy hitters (jacques, brule, stortini, stone) across all four lines. It really gives the more skilled players time to do what they do best when one of the big boys takes a man out of the play. Its exciting hockey and look forward to seeing them get better at it. The oilers havent had that kind of grit in the past few years so win or lose its still exciting to watch. Yeah for the coaching staff!!
