ÜberFly
Started happening a few weeks ago... After about 5 minutes on this site I automatically get kicked off without warning... Suntoucher
I use an iMac computer and can be logged on for days at a time until I remember to manually log off.

ÜberFly
That is what used to happen... Still happens with my Mac Book and my Dell at the office?! I didn't change any settings as far as I can remember... P I use an iMac computer and can be logged on for days at a time until I remember to manually log off. Flytyer
Are you using both at the same time or intermitently without logging off? If yes then that's most likely the cause
ÜberFly
Nope intermittently with logging off in between!! P Are you using both at the same time or intermitently without logging off? headscan
Which browser are you using?
ÜberFly
Marc, Safari - as I mentioned no problems using it with my Mac book... P Which browser are you using?
headscan
A few things to try: Download Firefox and see if it exhibits the same behaviour See if the same problem happens with Safari on other forums Use the Disk Utility to verify and repair permissions Try creating another user account on your iMac and see if the problem still occurs Verifying and repairing disk permissions usually fixes most odd little problems like that for me. Did you recently upgrade to 10.5.8? Might be some weird issue with that.
darrinhurst
I have the same problem on my iMac. I haven't tried it with Firefox yet, maybe I'll give that a go.
ÜberFly
Marc, yeah might be the upgrade... Since it started around that time. I'm not a member of any other forums, so can't try that. I'll run a the disk utility. I have Firefox, but don't use it all that often. If it comes to it, I'll try creating another account, but hopefully it won't come to that. Thanks for your help. SilverDoctor
I'm on Firefox and have no problems at all on any of my macs at home or work including my iTouch. Don't much care for Safari.
