cpraud Posted July 29, 2009 Share Posted July 29, 2009 I am going camping at Carseland this weekend and I was hoping there was a place to launch my pontoon boat upstream and float back down to the weir that was shorter than McKinnon's, are there any places that I can access from for a 3 or 4 hour float? slingshotz Posted July 29, 2009 Share Posted July 29, 2009 On the paved section of highway 24 (from from north of the river) where you normally turn left to go to Carseland, keep going south (on the gravel) almost until you hit the river and turn right before the farm house. cpraud Posted July 29, 2009 Author Share Posted July 29, 2009 Thanks guys, I bought a boat early this summer and haven't been able to get it out on the river yet and figured I had better get out, at least on a short one (to break in the wife easy), before summer is gone.
