River Access Between Mckinnon's & Carseland

I am going camping at Carseland this weekend and I was hoping there was a place to launch my pontoon boat upstream and float back down to the weir that was shorter than McKinnon's, are there any places that I can access from for a 3 or 4 hour float? A buddy mentioned "Jensen's" but he said you have to have a key. A little information would sure be appreciated.

You don't need a key,check google earth for directions.

Jensens also goes by "Legacy Island" and Trout Unlimited has info on their website.

On the paved section of highway 24 (from from north of the river) where you normally turn left to go to Carseland, keep going south (on the gravel) almost until you hit the river and turn right before the farm house. The road winds down a coolee to a parking area with a boat launch.

Thanks guys, I bought a boat early this summer and haven't been able to get it out on the river yet and figured I had better get out, at least on a short one (to break in the wife easy), before summer is gone. I'll definitely check it out.

i believe it's actually jantzen's and is very easy to find....just follow slingshotz directions.
