headscan Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Have you tried standard caddis patterns and tie them to match size and colour of the sedges? Some October caddis patterns might work too. Quote
rundleff Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 How big of a "Fro" are you looking for? I use something similar to this - [Green Pupa], No fro, but it should work for ya. The Octo Caddis should be right on too. Quote

Guest 420FLYFISHIN Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 i tied the under water form and trolled it 3 or 4 inches below the surface and got broken of on 6 lb line when the tank came up and hit it. Alls i saw was 2 flashes and gone. I will post a pic pf the pattern tonight. Quote
SilverDoctor Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 The Mikulak sedge pattern is a good one. 52 Buick for the nymph. Another good Sedge is the Tom Thumb, a bit smaller but makes a nice wake. Quote
