walker1 Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 When you heading down Rob? I'll be down around the 24th or so. Maybe we could head to the valley for a day to toss some bombers. Schooner is good but it will be Oland's Export for me, same thing, it hasn't been here for a few years. You use to be able to get it at the Trap & Gill and the Liquor store beside the Cecil. August 5-20. Teaching summer school again ( pays for the toys for me and the kids toys). Hope to get out on the Margaree for a few mornings if you want to hook up. Hope for some rain and good beer in between!!!! Quote
MMAX Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 No Bud Light Lime for weeks here in Calgary. Big Rock jumped on the bandwagon and had record sales with their Lime lager and filling in for BLL. As a former Big Rock rep in the old days it is sad that since they went public they have moved in to mainstream style beers and away from the craft beers. Back to Bud Light Lime, I betcha it has been stockpiled for weeks and will saturate the city during Stampede!! That's the story I got from the liquor stores in Innisfail. I just bought regular Bud light and put some lime in it. Think I'm cured of that for a while. Good old Pil is #1 in my books anyway. Quote

Golfman09 Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 I found a box of BLL and didn't mind it at all....Much fruitier than Corona with Lime but it'll do for hot days....But what I am impressed with is the Budweiser Chelada(Added Clamato, Salt and Lime....I will definately be bringing some of that back. I need to find a Walmart where I can pickup a boat load. Quote
