flyfishfairwx
Sarcasm is so poorly conveyed in writing ... HA HA HA HA I should have read Jeffro's post closer and then Clives would have been clearer... Ohh well just like my old Sergeant used to say "Nice guy, Tries Hard, not real bright" I prefer CPCS.. CPCS = Career Progressing - Career Stops
Jeffro
CLM Career Limiting Move RFOLMAO Nail on the head with the hammer Clive Taco I'm not sure if this map is of sample points, places where MPB have been found, or places MPB have been found that contain blue-stained fungus spores. Whoever made it clearly wasn't lectured hard enough on labelling..... I can't imagine there is too much of an issue with the MPB in the porkies simply due to the fact they would all blow to Saskabush when trying to find new host trees lol. Taco
Mountain pine beetle w/o the mountain... yeah I can see your point I'd imagine it'd be more of a fire issue than anything. The problem with fire in the Porkies is that they can run northeast 60-80 km before they get put out.
