dube
That's awesome. I wonder if someone slipped it in there on purpose?
Jayhad
I saw that pointed out on the news a few days ago, I was surprised because it really showed the biased opinion of the broadcaster, but if you let that happen the jokes will follow. They were also commenting on the ultra crappy quality of the video, the shot and the placement of the camera. Apparently the liberal party is broke, they need to have a 12 year old shoot the video
reevesr1
Ever notice how often "biased opinion" actually means "opinion different than my own?" How often, when someone agrees with us completely do we say "yeah, but you have a biased opinion." Not pointing at you Jayhad, just a general observation! TerryH
The best comment I heard in regard to the crappy video was "even in a banana republic, when you're doing a coup, the first thing is to take over the TV station." I guess our three stooges coalition didn't know about that part. Terry
Jayhad
Ever notice how often "biased opinion" actually means "opinion different than my own?" How often, when someone agrees with us completely do we say "yeah, but you have a biased opinion." Not pointing at you Jayhad, just a general observation! I was only saying it was biased because the news casters were making jokes of the video. I support the jokes whole heartedly, I was just surprised at national broadcasters. No offence taken
dryfly
When Dubya senior bombed Baghdad (way back in the early 90s) the CBC (or CTV) interviewed Dr. Gwynne Dyer (yellow journalist supreme, fearmongering entertainer, etc etc). On a shelf behind his desk was a small TV set that was on showing wrestling on World Wrestling Federation. Too funny. He was probably writing one of his bogus "in-depth political or scientific analyst" columns on wrestling. The ONLY good thing about Dyer is that he's not a politician. But I admire him for being a successful businessman raking in a huge income on his ill-informed sensational columns. I digress.
Pythagoras
"fearmongering entertainer" Ha! Love that term...keep the masses in line by pressing the primal buttons.
