mikefromsundre Posted May 14, 2008 Share Posted May 14, 2008 Just another heads up about the Sundre area. Forget fishing, try golf(?) The big problem is if you want to drive through town Fri. Traffic is always terrible on the bridge but they have now started major construction at the 4 way stop. They are installing traffic lights. But traffic right now is down to single lane. It is going to be a mess Fri. If you can take an alternate route do so. The businesses in town would be ticked at me but I have seen the line up a mile back up to golf course when there is no construction. So you are warned. Seriously, it took me 5 min. to get through the 4 way stop this morning. Normally I have to wait for 1 or 2 other vehicles. I might sneak into town tomorrow just to see the line up. Guest RedWiggler Posted May 21, 2008 Share Posted May 21, 2008 Ah man you were not lying, Friday I left my campsite at 5:20 PM and it took 45 minutes to get from A&W to the 4 way stop. 1 hr 15 mins. to get to Beaver which is 25/30 mins. from my campsite........it was brutal.
