Dried Seaweed

Hi fellow fishers, do any of you know a source of dried seaweed in calgary? Preferably pre-mixed but if not a few different varieties?

Health food specialty stores. Amaranth in Arbour Lake has dulce I don't know about others.

I'd try an asian market. I made sushi rolls one day with the stuff, I got it on centre street by 16th ave. Big market there.

Yep, 2 inches of sewage in the meat and fish department sounds pretty fawking gross!

I love that T&T Supermarket. A little sewage didn't hurt anyone.

 

Back to the seaweed, if you're looking for the sushi wrap dried seaweed, it is called "nori." I've never seen that in a salad before though. You might be looking for "wakame," which is a dried seaweed used in soups, condiments, asian "salads."

 

Anyone up for some T&T steam buns for supper? yummy!

Look at this one...I can say I have eaten here a couple of times..Honestly they had some good Noodles...
