DBT. I've just gotta say......I've never seen an emerger with a beedhead. Thats thinking out of the box.

thanks dude...gets it down (where all emergers begin) and then bring it up on the swing...works well for them Crow 'bows and crackers...

that was about as much of a competition as a elephant vs. an ant.... :blink: good tie Terry, going up against that pattern, the rest of us went down faster than an elbowed french soccer player...

Thanks Gary and Andrew -- I was rather surprised by the results too, since there are some really great flies in this round. Truth be known, my go to BWO dry is a thorax style (with clipped hackle) rather like Andrew's easy baetis -- quick to tie and quite durable. Even so, the wally wing technique is a fun thing to try. I like that style of wing that's why I voted for your tie, I generally use it for flavs and green drakes, though I have even used it for humpies. Oh and thanks to whoever was gracious enough to vote for mine.
