bulltrout Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Nice tie tango! Don't forget to crimp your barb LOL. I always find the hardest thing about tying on hook sizes that are real small is getting the vise jaws to hold it proper, But I think 22 is about the smallest have tied...... Can't even get smaller then 18 in canmore. Let us see some of your creations when your done. Maybe try a small clouser all i could get down to was #18 for a clouser and even that was crazy...big ups to those who can tie and fish small hooks as i never will (cause i fear for my sanity)...lol Quote

Tango Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 there's the next competion for flies. the smallest actual pattern one can tie and submit. LOL Taco wins just by having the rare as rocking horse dooh dah Mustad #32 hooks (I wouldn't sully them with fur or feather either, well maybe one). As for a #24 intruder......... forget it, tie the stinger on and the hook is full. Quote
fishfreak Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Practice on those big sz 24s then see what you can tie on Mustad 32s Don't crowd the eye OMG, I almost spit out my lunch laughing so hard at this picture. The contrast is like Shaq trying to ride a tricycle. Quote
