fishpro Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Hey everyone, I've planned a trip down to Argentina for this spring and was wondering if anyone has heard of Jurassic Lake? Has anyone on here been or do you know of anyone else who has gone? If you have, how was the fishing? Was it as consistently good as everyone says? It's supposedly one of the best trout lakes in the world. http://www.andesoutfitters.com/excursionDetail.php?recKey=98 Quote
Guest bigbadbrent Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 I've heard negative and positive, some guys that have been there say you only hit one of those pigs once a week..while the others average like 16". This could be just speculation, and obviously the places that advertise it won't admit to that.. I think if you're in argentina, you shouldn't be fishing lakes for the whole time you're there, you'll be missing out Quote
ladystrange Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 take a look at this. http://www.flyfishingtheworld.net/ you will have to look for the trip log and read his posts about fishing there. Quote
bigbowtrout Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 http://www.flyfishingtheworld.net/11_09_07.htm I think there is a tonne of great sea run fishing not to far from the lake and the lake seems to be a great side trek for when you are fishing the Browns. When the Lotto hits I will join you Quote
monger Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 There seems to be quite a few videos from Jurassic with guys catching spawners at the mouth of the creek. I guess if you time it right you can be sure to have lots to cast at. Looks like some serious wind there. I hope to you can cast well. Quote
