hawkeye
So I'm going to try and pull some Walleye throught the ice at Lesser Slave this weekend and am thinking about taking some bare jigheads and trying to tye something onto it that a walleye or whatever else might smack at. Anyone tried this before? If so, how'd it work? Any thoughts welcome! Bill
maxwell
hey dude i had tons of luck with a simple tye..rabbit strip tail tehn wrap the rabbit up teh shank...chartreuse, black, white...clouser minnows and double bunnies worked too........or tye up your favorite jig combos but wollybugger style......goodluck dude
ggp
I've never fished them through the ice, but I have fished them on a full sink fly line stripping a big old leech pattern along the bottom...and done quite well....so I am sure that if you turn you're jig into a leech pattern it will work. cheeler
A bright color jighead can work for an egg sucking leech.

Pipes
I would imagine Bloom's catatonic leech would be an ideal candidate.
monger
This is what I used last weekend. My marabou perch jig. Olive over white, with a little flash and some orange for fins.
flyangler
One of you should try that beaded minnow I invented for the bead fly swap. Color it in baitfish colors that are suitable for your lake.
