fishinglibin Posted August 28, 2020 Posted August 28, 2020 I am sizing down from my 16 ft jet to a 14 ft alum. I would prefer a 15hp short shaft, but the are not easy to find used. I used to get up river no problem with my old 15. Do you think a 9.9 has enough power to go up river. I question that. Paul Quote

Jayhad Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 Pretty sure any mercury dealer could order the 15 HP for you , code is 15MH for the standard tiller, pull start. electric start would be a 15EH.. (I think) BPS has the best price on Mercs. That's for a 17" or smaller transom Quote
