bulltrout Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 part 4... carbondale by gardiner... the swimmin' hole on the carbondale... some swimming... south castle in october... late season carbondale... at the head of the canyon... my dad on random creek... first bully on a dry (goddard caddis)... early season oldman... thanks for persevering through all my pics (would've been better if i didn't take so many pics when i'm out and about)...it was a memorable year with many fish, some big uns, some new friends, some old friends and the beauty in my own backyard to astonish me yet again for one more season...can't wait to do it all over again next year... And run off is done. just FYI...the big boys weren't on the carb... you gotta wear some felt off the soles or else pack some good hiking boots to get to those... Quote
ladystrange Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 DBT, those are some of my favourite places on the carbondale. i dont know the swimming hole though. but that pic of the carbondale around the switchback in run off before it drops down to the next deep pool is awesome. under that shelf used to live the stupidest cutty ever. and the gardner where it becomes the carbondale where the other river (which i forget the name suicide???) is a great place. love it. all my favourite places and great memories. thanks. see u down there next summer Quote
