Looking for flash marabou

A number of years ago I was able to pickup a large bag of Flashabou dubbing

I think it came from a company call Mertz or something like that .

 I need it in black for tying a few dozen #6 leaches 

All I seem to be finding is small bags of hareline dubbing.

Would anyone have a line on this .

The company was Metz but I’m not sure if they distribute it anymore.  You can buy it right from Hedron or get one of the local shops to order it in for you if they don’t have it.

Have you tried Ice Dub? It’s pretty similar and readily available almost everywhere.

I have tried the ice dubbing but find it too course and doesn’t lay down like I like. 

I will give it a go.

Maybe Polar Chenille might work. Many colours and sizes to choose from. It lays down nicely and is easy to work with. Adds almost no bulk and sheds water.
