ArtVandelay Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Would you float the Bow in a pram? Quote
Dangus Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Probably fine. Saw a pair of guys in a 10 foot tinny today. Went down shallow riffles into a run sideways...standing up inside the boat. Absolutely clueless. Was hoping for a good Vid but they pulled it out! 1 Quote
bowbonehead Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 I do not think I would take mine as it is glass(and I have other boats) but alu should be fine with the low water and only one in the pram..... the lower stretch would be best a it is flatter water....maybe try Jensens/Legacy Island to Carseland as a test stretch as it is a shorter float Quote
BrianR Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 I used to float in 10' springbok pram .From legasy to Caresland. No standing in that boat, low free board. You need to be able to slow down.I just drifted to spots & got out to fish the run. Quote
ArtVandelay Posted September 6, 2018 Author Posted September 6, 2018 Thanks guys. I have a 10' Spring Creek Hopper II. The website says it's rated for Class 1 and Class 2 rivers but I'd still be a little worried about damage. It's a fantastic boat for stillwaters. I'll probably just buy a pontoon for the Bow. If anyone has one for sale shoot me a PM. Quote
Delray Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 Over here a 'pram' is something in which you wheel the baby around. Grabbed my attention... Quote
