Ok awesome.. allright fellas, vote. I'd like to keep the ball rolling so we can get to booking and planning who's gonna bring what, etc and where.

I voted week day just to help avoid the crowds but if the weekend works better for the majority then that's fine also. I would try to aviod the long weekend thou. Hawgstopper I will find out more info about who to contact for booking Syncline. If you need some help organizing I will help!!!

How about a get together that starts on the weekdays and ends on the weekend or vice versa?

no weekends for me, i probably only fished once or twice on weekends all summer this year cause of the crowds.

How bout we start on a wednesday or something, and go right thrhu to sat or sunday. ? Then we'll book maybe the one at syncline with 16 sites. 125/night. BYOB... sound good to anyone?

I have Sunday, Monday Tuesdays off so of course those days would be perfect for me but I can pretty well go anytime.

I have organized quite a few group camping events and I have a good checklist if you need any advice.

Perhaps an organizational meeting prior at the Rose & Crown?

i get 6 days off in a row so thur fri sat sun or sat sun mon tue works for me. Hell i'll take holidays and go all week.

why not cover most the bases, start it on a Wednesday or Thursday and run it all the through a weekend?

anyone can run faster than me, but i play dirty.

 

actually there are 2 Hawg, the lost and the suicide. i havent done either but i know where they join the carbondale and the gardner. also the far end of the gardner past the ball diamonds is fantastic too. if you like small, and i do mean small streams.

 

i dont have anymore vacation time left for next year. so i would have to come down friday night after work and head back sunday night.

Well I think based on people's opinions, this should be on a NON long weekend, and run either * thursday - sunday * or a * friday - tuesday * kinda thing... agreed?
