Guest ArtVandelay Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Here are a few shots from recent trips. The first two are from the storm north of Airdrie on July 21st. This is a composite (3 photos combined in Photoshop) of the same happy little gull. The next two are from east of Strathmore. Mt. Armstrong, Kananaskis And finally one from north of Airdrie. There's nothing like early morning and late evening sun when it comes to picture taking. I hope you enjoy. Neil 7 Quote
RedBeard Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Great flicks! I love that storm front shot! Quote
SteveM Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Another great set of photos, Neil. I particularly like this one. It appears as though the happy little canola field is doing it's damnedest to hold off that big ol' nasty storm cell! Epic! Quote
Jayhad Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Love the gull pic bro, your pics are killing it. lets get into the mountains and get you some bear close ups. Quote
SilverDoctor Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Wonderful photos, I love viewing back to this section in the winter Quote
Buck Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Nice work Neil, really stepping up your game. What time of day is your Mt Armstrong shot from??? I like that storm shot as well, the division of the wheat & canola (I think?) on the bottom really adds some visual tension to the overall storm, I keep looking up at the storm but then my eye is pulled to the bottom and follows that line into the horizon. We should get out sometime! Quote
Guest bigdirty Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Also loving the canola storm pic. Wow! Quote
Muffin Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Wow Neil, that is an amazing set of photos. Thank you for sharing your talent. That is a pretty cool way to handle the gull photo by combining it, the end result looks great. Quote
