ÜberFly Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 I've been so busy this winter between teaching Avalanche Skills Training (AST) courses and guiding snowshoeing trips on the weekends (then add to the fact that the snow conditions have been brutal), I hate to admit that today I finally got out for some skiing So a couple buddies and I decided to head into Katherine Lake in BNP to earn our turns. Wow what an amazing day. Still a lot of snow left and the snow pack was super stable. Boy am I out of shape (hence me being at the back taking all the photos)! Either way, I was able to mark the trail on my GPS so that I can get up there to fish this summer! Enjoy (vicariously)! Looking back at the Ice fields Parkway Heading on up to the ridge Looking back down the up track The final push Finally! Back for more A look back at Katherine Lake 7 Quote

jasonvilly Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Now that looks like fun, too bad there wasnt a lake to ski down to. A little carve and cast could be a pretty fun day. Quote
