Been learning how to fly fish for the last couple of years but haven't hit the water as often as id like to. So far I have only fished the Bow River with minimal success but plan to hit the water more often this year. The learning curve can be tough at first, but if you don't get discouraged, you start to learn and pick things up at a quicker and quicker pace. I basically spent my first two or three years toiling as I was completely self taught. Once I started getting even a few tips here and there and really started to pay attention to what I was doing, I made up a lot of ground in a single season and continue to improve constantly.
