Do Posts Disappear Often Here?

I posted some photos of some christmas flies that my girlfriend's son made then the entire thread disappeared. Did I post something that I shouldn't or r do threads just disappear around here?

It was posted from my desk top and there were lots of comments and likes, then it disappeared.

in the notification section i can click on the link to the thread from the like notifications, but it tells me i don't have permission to view this topic.

Might be cause they were being sold commercially.

Fair enough. It was not my intention to sell them, but rather show off his talent. Im proud of him and I wanted to share the kind words people left with him. My apologies if i crossed a line or broke any forum rules.

As far as I'm concerned there was nothing wrong with the post you made and it was great to see the artistry of a young person being displayed. To answer your question, it is not the first time a thread has disappeared on this forum. Back in Sept. the thread What Are You Tying 2014 Edition disappeared with no credible reason given. A lot of excellent content by many members was lost. The thread has since been restarted. I would restart yours and see what happens.
