cgyguy
Went for a boat ride up from Mac's and came across what looked like a movie set or something set up for a tv series along the south side of the river. I am sure most of you know what this is being used for (series?), but was hoping someone could tell me? I don't often travel up that way tending to stay downstream, so have never seen this. thanks guys cgyguy

Hawgstoppah
There is a location down from the highwood confluence that was used for some little house on the prairie TV series episodes as well

trailhead
Used it for the Brad Pitt - Jesse James movie too.
bcubed
They must have been getting annoyed at all the river shots for Hell on wheels. I can see it now.."..drift boat!". Was pretty cool floating under one of their big cranes as they were doing the landscape shots with. Neat to be able to figure out which shot it was in the show as well! I am pretty sure on one of the last shots on the last season you can see a boat parked across from the highwood confluence and people sitting on the bank..
