I'm in the very early planning stages for a trip next year! Turns out one of my colleagues here is from Mongolia and she has family who does some outfitting.

I've only seen that guy use barbless spoons in the Amazon. Absolutely fabulous to see him on a fly!

I knew about the Taimen, but I did not realize how beautiful the country is. Like they say on the website, it looks like the West pre-industrialization...also looks a bit like Patagonia. Hoping for a good bonus this year, maybe make the trip in 2013!
