Guest Dust1n Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 Went out to a local pothole lake yesterday afternoon armed with the 6wts and a half dozen flies. Midges were hatching in good numbers, The sun was behind the clouds and fished through 3 storms to land 1 Browns and a few bows. The Browns struck the flies very aggressively and the colors were phenomenal! Here is some pics: My buddy with my brownie Quote

jasonvilly Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Cool phots, nice looking browns. Were you using a color accent feature on a P/C camera? Some of those colors pop. Quote
Guest 420FLYFISHIN Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 looks like color push but still nice looking trout, i have not pulled a brown from a lake to this day for some reason. Quote
northfork Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 nice, that lake always offers a treat than just the usual rainbow Quote
Guest Dust1n Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 When the weather is crappy and its early season we lined up the 6wts for the browns and didnt bother to piss around with any of the bows (Went to another Lake for that). Im using just a P&S camera nothing special 14megapixels Deffinitly wished i would have landed the other brown it was massive! Quote
