I am no expert here and I don't have any pictures but I was on a river down south and I came across what I thought were green drakes. They started coming out in mid to late afternoon and they were very big. I put on a green drake imitation and absolutely cleaned up on the cutts. I guess my question is I thought they hatched much earlier.

Does anyone run into green drakes this time of year.

Thanks

Possible depends on the size; kinda late.

Western Green drake is generally hook size 6-10

Could likely be the Small Green Drake 12-16 - Drunella flavilinea

if you had a picture maybe you could post.
