Dxh
Please don't ask me how because I'm still pretty mad at myself for doing it, but I managed to break a Tfo 5wt 4 piece rod in two different places. The third piece closest to the tip and also the part with the cork handle and butt. Is that covered in warranty? Will they charge me the 30$ charge or 60$? What a great way to start a vacation. fishinglibin
Sorry to say, likely $60.00, but that is still not bad, considering no warranty. Better luck next time. Over the years I broke 3 rods. Thank Goodness for warranties.
Quillyrabbit
My last TFO break was about an inch from the end. I was feeling especially cheap that day and purchased a $5.00 tip and glued it on. Still fishes fine. This could be an option for you if you only want to replace one section, that is assuming the second break was close to the end.
