My dad had heard about a high elevation lake up behind our place so we thought it would be cool to try and find it. I had also wanted to teach my dad how to fly fish and figured this would be a good chance. After a day of lessons and planning we headed out. It was about a 2hr quad ride to the lake. As we pulled up fish were rising and I was getting excited to hopefully get my dad into his first fish on the fly rod. I rigged him up with one of my rods and through on a royal wulff. First cast, BAM. fish on!!! It was pretty steady for him from there on out. None of the fish were over 10", but it was a blast and was happy to share the experience with him.
