Tungsten Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Hell ya, missed me and my trailer by inches. I was sitting having a beer when the wind kicked up,twigs and pine cones started to fly so i got up and went under my awning to have a look.Crack! Landed right on my chairs. The top 15 or so feet broke when it hit another tree on the way down. This saved my trailer. Just in front of the fire wood is where i was sitting. My two chairs were crushed Quote

First time I ever heard and saw a tree fall naturally. Buy a lotto ticket Quote
ironfly Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Forget the lotto ticket; I'd say you used up your current allocation of luck in a much better way. Quote

Tungsten Posted August 18, 2010 Author Posted August 18, 2010 The unfortunate thing is almost all the trees in that area are a little rotten. So many nails have bin pounded in.Its only a matter of time before they cut down all the others.Would be nice if they planted a few seedlings around the area.
