If that'n came from the waters down east then that is a special fish

 

Nope I think he caught it in the Porcupine hills, had a cutty and a juvenile Bull in its mouth, and was humping a rainbow and a Brown at the same time!!!

 

Shoooooot I need to get out fishing again!!!

That's an awful nice brookie....but dont they call 'em spec's out east??.....(uh oh, walleye vs pickerel debate?)

 

There are decent Brookies 'round here if you can find 'em.

This one's from an Alberta crick.....hungry little buggers.

Did you catch the fish in the Annapolis Valley. There are some big brookies in many of the stillwaters on the south mountain. I grew up catching them on a spin rod, wish I had learned to fly fish earlier.

 

No, Cape Breton. However, I'm very familiar with the valley. I did an undergrad at Acadia and am going back in the fall for post grad.

Totally off topic, but how did you like Acadia? Right now I'm thinking it's my first choice for my MA.
