bowbuster Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Anyone ever try this. Looks pretty cool once it is all set up Quote
SilverDoctor Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Dubbing machines have been around for a while now. I have tried that model and it wold be great if you where a production tier running masses of dubbing brushes. There are manual dubbing brushes that work as well. A nor-vice is slick also for doing it but so will a dubbing whirler, even a paper clip works great on a dubbing loop. Depends how much you love gadgets. Quote
bowbuster Posted April 28, 2010 Author Posted April 28, 2010 Ya ive seen them before but just the manual ones and have never tried one. They look pretty cool though for doing long hair dubbing ties like in the video. Think i might gear one up just for fun and to have for tying up big bushy streamers. I have an old dremmel tool with a sppeed control on it. That should work. What size of wire is needed for them? Quote
maxwell Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 I have made a dubbing brush machine a little different but I love it! excellent for cranking out a ton of streamers! Quote

Frenchcreek Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 A while back, there was a very good video on making your own dubbing block. I built mine and it works A-1. Check it out at http://hatches.tv/play.php?vid=403 Quote
