jdangler
I have been watching videos about casting thru the winter, and really been concentrating on Ed Ward's Skagit Master so today I was able to get out today & give it a good try. Well let me say that maybe not everycast yet but when you get the fly, leader,10' sink tip, 25' of Sagit line & 15-20' of running line shoot out & give the rod a shake when it stops it is a beautiful thing. Man what a blast, even though no fish it didnt matter, just let me cast again. Great Fun!
SilverDoctor
There are a lot of joys in fishing that have nothing to do with catching Trout. Congratulations for finding one of them.

kranny
yup, when you feel that "thunk" on your reel when your running line is all out and your fly is a mile away is an indescribable feeling. Nice work.

cam
Yep that solid tug at the end of a long bomb is every bit as good as the tug on the end of your line...
