Bryan's voice started singing before he brought the mic up to his mouth when he first kicked in. It kind of make me suspicious of all the other 'performances'. I had thought it was either fat Toby Maguire, or fat Joaquin Phoenix, and I couldn't really connect either to vancouver apart from possibly being in town to score some marijuana. LynnF Posted February 15, 2010 Share Posted February 15, 2010 They were definitely lip sync'ing....I watched closely after that Brian Adams/mic slip up right at the start and you could see it if you looked for it. Thought it kind of odd since Sarah McLaughlin clearly wasn't...nor anyone else for that matter. I was waiting for Nelly's dress to split or her to wipe out with those shoes on. duanec Posted February 15, 2010 Share Posted February 15, 2010 KD Lang??.....................I thought that it was Vince Gill after gaining a few pounds yes...not much to look at but she definitely provided the spiritual highlight of the opening ceremonies. and although that yanofsky is a talented kid and it wasn't her call you do not i repeat do not 'jazz up' or 'treat' our national anthem. furtado/adams was embarrasing...why bother? all said it was an impressive opening ceremonies that certainly stirred some patriotism and pride. well done.
