  1. I had been a Mac guy for about 5-6 years with very few issues with my iMac and iOS. Recently built a PC for various reasons (not the least of which was cost) and loaded it with Windows 10/Office 2016. It has only been 3 months but so far I've found it to be absolutely stable, and issue free and every bit as functional and unobtrusive as my experience with my iMac...very happy so far! I guess we'll see how it's working a year or two from now but for now I'm not planning on switching back any time soon. Cheers!
  2. I'll offer a slightly different opionion! I used the Boa system Simms boots all last season and I really like them. Are they any BETTER than lace-ups...probably not but I don't see a significant downside to them. Cheers!
  3. I have a good friend who just put on a set of Cooper ATW's on his Tundra and he is in love with them...says they're considered a 4 season tire which is slightly less than a dedicated winter tire but more than an All-Season. In any case he's been singing their praises so far. HTH!
  4. I don't know if this helps but I have a 12 year old Vermont Castings gas BBQ (no longer made unfortunately) with enameled cast iron grills and they are the bomb! I know of a couple of people that have had stainless grills warp on them. Cheers, Mike
  5. I do quite a bit of offroading and overland style travel with my Toyota Landcruisers and I have always upsized my tires for more ground clearance. It depends on the vehicle but you should be able to go up 1-2" in total diameter and still fit the wheel wells and clear suspension components. For example my 100-series cruiser has 33" tires compared with the 31" stock size. Unless you are doing a fair amount of offroading or are on roads that require significant clearance to get to your fishing spots I wouldn't bother with upsizing tires and the associated compromises (poorer fuel economy, speedometer calibration, increased wear, etc.). That's my $0.02! Cheers, Mike
  6. That is quite small...I'm not sure if any of my suggestions come in a 14". Cheers, Mike
  7. I've bought several sets of All Terrain tires for my trucks over the years. I can recommend from personal experience: Goodyear Duratrac - if you want something somewhat aggressive but still very nice on the highway. They also work very well in snow but less so on ice. BF Goodrich AT KO - I liked very much and they wear like iron if kept properly inflated. General Grabber AT2 - A good friend has these on his Tundra and has been very happy with them. Similar to the AT KO's but quite a bit cheaper I've almost always found buying my tires from Tire Rack was the least expensive and the shipping is very quick and easy although occasionally I've seen better deals locally, especially with the Grabber AT2's which are sometimes discounted quite a bit at Canadian Tire. Hope that helps! Cheers, Mike
  8. After over 15 years of fishing on and off (more off than on, unfortunately!) with an Orvis Rocky Mountain 4WT rod I decided to get a new TFO BVK 3WT last year and I have to say I really like it. It's only my second fly rod but I really like the feel and it has a lot more backbone than my old Orvis rod. I have no doubt that there are some benefits to the higher-end brands but I don't think the BVK can be beat for the money. Cheers!
