  3. If you saw it at Flyangler.ca chances are it was mine for the Red Green swap that was held there. Strange looking fly but it has caught pike thugh.
  4. I was browsing another board looking at some fly patterns and I noticed that some of the materials used are some of the oddest I've ever seen. One pattern called for a sequin installed at the front of the eye, another called for the braided hair tie backs that some of the ladies use. Anyone else ever come across an odd material or use something that is out of the ordinary? Interested in hearing more on this topic.

  6. I served in the Persian Gulf, Bosnia( based in Turkey), Israel, UK, Australia various bases here in Canada and did some training out of San Diego and Miramar when it was operational. The best was Australia those guys there were a load fun to be around.

  9. There are underwater housings out there but they can be pricey but not all....I have used several in the past and found that all the ones I tried are awkward to use. Best thing I can suggest is look around and see whats out there used....who knows you may find a used Pentax Optio W 20 or 30 at a decent price that will solve your delma.

  11. Hi Pat the best reasonable DT line I have found was SA ; I didn't like the memory retention of Cortland 444 I use SA DT on a 3 wt and it rolls over quite nicely.

  14. At the boottom of the post reply box where you type in your post there is a grey browse button use it to navigate where you photo is on your computer and click it to select it and then click the green upload buttonNOTE MAX file size is 2MB OR you can post via an onine photo hosting sitwe.
