K, here's a new GROANER:
Two young men were out in the woods on a camping trip, when the came upon this great trout brook. They stayed there all day, enjoying the fishing, which was super.
At the end of the day, knowing that they would be graduating from college soon, they vowed that they would meet, in twenty years, at the same place and renew the experience.
Twenty years later, they met and traveled to a spot near where they had been years before. They walked into the woods and before long came upon a brook. One of the men said to the other, "This is the place!".
The other replied, "No, it's not!".
The first man said, "Yes, I do recognize the clover growing on the bank on the other side.
To which the other man replied, "Silly, you can't tell a brook by it's clover."

TFO is a great brand for their price..but it is a rod that you get what you paid for..i own 3 tfos, 1 sage..and am getting more sages, not more tfo's if that tells you anything..
How long have you been fishing, how would you evaluate your level, beginner, or what?
CDock and I were talking about this earlier in the year. That eventually we'd probably get a really nice high quality setup with our most heavily used rod.. a nice Sage with a good high quality reel, and have the TFO's for the "less used" rods..

*edit* - Don't forget about the +/- stat.. one of the most overlooked, yet one of the most telling. Tanguay is a +6 right now (3rd on the team), Conroy is a -1.
What does this have to do with the Leafs you ask?? Absolutely nothing.

My wife and I got married in the Best Western Hotel on the corner of Mcleod Trail and Southland Drive. It is now a Delta I believe, but still the same owners.
They have two buildings seperated by a +15 that goes over Fairmont? Dr... Each building has some really nice rooms on the main floor so what we did is had a late afternoon wedding in one room, then everyone walked across the +15 to the other building and we had the reception in the other room right away.
Lots of "that was the best wedding we've ever been to" comments followed..

Have you guys noticed the point spread in the West right now?? 3rd through 8th place teams all have 26 points.
Calgary and Edmonton ARE playing horrible hockey right now.. and yet they're still only 3 and 5 points out of 1st in the division and 3rd in the conference!!

I would like to know how to get into this thing. I posted that I would like to be in about 2 pages ago with no response from anybody needing people and I dont really know anybody from the forum, so how does that work.

Lynn, before you drop $...
In addition to above suggestions:
Have you changed the default wireless network name?
Have you secured your wireless network?
I would do the above as well as possibly changing the wireless channel (frequency). In my experience doing the above will fix most of your connection issues. And if not, then maybe it's time to get a linksys.

If it were either one of those things (the SSID or the security) they wouldn't be able to connect at all. The problem is that the connection gets dropped for a few seconds from time to time, and then reconnects again.

I think one of the fun skill tests we should do is have someone stand out at a certain distance holding out a hula-hoop at arms length.. you then have to cast your loop through the hula-hoop.
Saw it on "Lessons with Lefty".. looks like fun!

Sounds like the wind storm that blew through when we were camping in Kikomun Creek this summer. Agreed.. it is SCARY when trees that are >6 feet around are getting knocked over like toothpicks!!

Casting: sucks
Ability to even know what half those casts are: sucks
Line control: sucks
High sticking: sucks
Swing presentation skills: sucks
Czech Nymphing: sucks.
Dry fly, really, really sucks
Whats a loop? That's one of those trailing things, isn't it? If so, I'm ok at that. If not, sucks.

jezuz birchy...you really started something here. I'm going to need some coaching Greg. I can catch fish but as far as all that other stuff, not to sure. My casts aren't pretty but they get the job done. Show me the ways of the dark side.....I'M IN....
