  4. A few carp or suckers as i call em. I caught 1 whitefish. Yes small sowbugs and sjw's used all weekend with most fish caught on the sjw. C-c-c-c-c-cold water.
  5. Hey John great to have u back. No rules affected here. Post on young man .................POST ON.
  6. Im planning on doing a trip outta Alberta to a different river every year. Paying for a guide is priceless. I learned a bunch even down there. Cost was 375 USD per float. Catching a HOG like that bad boy brown in front of 3 guided drift boats as they float by...priceless.
  7. The water temp of the Big horn is a mere 42 deg F. Colder than ass. Oh man and my neopreneless waders were just like wet wading. Took a while to warm up after ward. But when yer slammin fish who needs feeling in your feet.
  8. All that algae = places for food to grow = TONS OF FISH in this river.
  9. Note the water clarity in the back ground.
  10. Brent its a tail water stream. Most of them are like that in the US.

  12. Another one of many browns caught. I bet u guys cant guess what fly I was using? Fish didnt stand a chance.
  13. The colors of these browns are amazing.
  14. Here are some pics. We floated 2 days. First day was slow i picked up 12 with some really nice fish. Guide set me up with 5x tippet for my nymphs. Well that stopped after I bow river hookset my first fish and snapped off. So i brought my trusty 6lb maxima. Guide thought I was nuts. OH THE FISH WILL SEE THAT. Nope. Not one fish snapped off after that. I picked up well over 50 fish during the both days with the biggest being 22inch. Guide says its the biggest one seen all year. COOL..... Montana state record for browns is 28 inches. Oh man. What a river. 8000 trout per mile. Crystal clear. Looking under the boat in the water as you float all you see is browns/rainbows spooking. So cool. Anyway it was a blast. I"ll put more pics up tomorrow when I get to work and can resize them. 22" brown. One of many nice bows caught. They fight harder than the bow bows lb per lb More to come.
