Great thread.......lots of new ideas.Im going condom shopin tonight and wormin it up on the weekend!

I have an old sony at work....I will pm you the model # in the am.

I use a 7' 1wt for alot of the small streams and love it...matched up with the right line its hard to put down and fish with another rod.The largest fish i landed with it was an 18" rainbow....the rod was in full flex but no problem to land.I find after you fish the lightweight stuff you will start to switch over.My new bow river rod next year will be a 9' 4wt XP,but still a 1 or 2 for the small streams.

Man the boatmen I saw on the water yesterday were tan colored....threw me for a loop with all the dark patterns I had tied.

That happened to my brother and I at walmart last xmas.....it started with my bro asking him in a nice voice to move his cart....and it ended with my brother and the other gentleman being kicked out by a wal-cop for a shopping cart fight!It was epic and totally called for.

Man thats unbelievable......I hope they are caught!

Ok I cast my Helios for the first time yesterday.....I change my new fav to Orvis.

I would fish a 3-4 for the smaller streams.

Too bad....at least you have warranty.However i will take your advice for next trip out let this be a warning to us all.

Wow.....great customer service,unbeatable prices,extra flies thrown in,came with fly boxes(nothing great but they are not all loose),and discount coupons for my next order.If you have not placed an order with them please do....they are so great to deal with.

I bought the rv store 1200$ one with the charging system and it kicks ass .

Great to see everyone get together for a good cause.

The rods couldnt be more oppisite you should try castinting the 2.The zxl is very smooth and to the slow side.I have a 480-4 zxl and love it for dry flies.
