  1. put you rod down, in a safe spot. calmly walk into the trees, and return with a fairly lage branch. preferrably heavier on one end. approach said proffessional angler, all the while staring him in the eye. stop roughly 6-8 feet away, reamianing on the up hill side of him. pause briefly...and politly ask him again. if that doesnt work, throw your stick into his hole, pick up yer rod, and keep movin.
  2. usually the bend with the most garbage is the best. fish will hide under pallets and styrofoam so key in on these areas.
  3. aside from that ...ive heard that the restricted licence may be pulled and gun counter staff might be needing criminal checks. there seems to be allot of government officials involved with the theft, and from what ive heard this wont happen again. bass pro was denied their restricted licence...could this be the end of behind the counter hand guns? hope not, im an avid hunter and own many rifles. i hope to one day get my restricted licence, but with incidents such as this...it may never happen.
  4. wow...do you just want to have a scrap with words or do you actually have a valid point? opinions are what makes a forum, and everybodys entitled to their own. your words are immature and unfounded. i worked there as a teenager, not far from your age, and your right maybe if i voiced my thoughts this wouldnt have happened. unfortunatly it took me many years to grow up and realize the faults surrounding us. i dont think you know exactly what happened and for how long. delvulging this info unfortunatly puts peoples jobs at risk, so i like many remain tight lipped. perhaps before you engage someone like this you should do your research and find the facts. if you cant do that then just sit back and let the adults talk.
  5. who are you kidding? seriously? your talking about the army, im talkin about joe q public. i used to work at the old location waaaaay back. i had full access to these guns, and even wondered when theyd "go missing". thats not the emplyees fault....thats managment!! hands down!! you dont need to be a fortune teller to see this coming, common sense man....common sense. btw that was the most contradictive paragraph i have ever read.
  6. somebody had better get fired over this. absolute bull####. theres gotta somebody of high rank reading this, wheres your ####### head? with all the crap goin on today, you let 50 guns outta yer store? IDIOT!!! there was a horse shot down by policemans the other night. no reason other than sick fun. sleep well moron, coulda been yer gun. i want to see heads roll on this one....and im not alone. we need to set an example for such a complete lack of responsibility.
  7. looks like a quick and easy pattern...thanks!
  8. ANYWAYS.....ill be the bigger man and end this. tight lines jksnidjikders.
  9. actually...this makes it a total error on THREE counts. if theres gonna be a fourth, PM me.
  10. why the process? why cant you just upload like youtube or email? im no genius (without my rod) but why is it this complicated?
  11. but you did read it....and then you responded to it.
  12. i never clean mine (LAZY) therefore i usually buy new line 2-3 times a year. but....ive heard if you clean it...it lasts. first crack and the line takes on water.
  13. there should be a button on the top side of yer cork, that when depressed releases a hinge in the bend of yer hook. no wait....two buttons. the other allows the bend to curl further to the shank, therefore locking the fish in place. yeah......420.....all day.
  14. why do i only lose trophy trout, but sukkers n whiteys are always to hand....i mean boot?
  15. holy CRAP! thats sounds like allota work. so you gotta go through this for every pic? lifes too short.
  16. i personally think smiley faces are used too much here and im calling for an all out ban. as for your riddle on where you are...i dont get it and fortunatly for me, i have A.D.D. so ive alredy stopped caring. but i do agree with the cutty thing, love all the slopes.
  17. wheres that? cause here the browns roll allot, and the bows tend to be more acrobatic. therefore, the rainbows are typically more fun to catch.
  18. sub-surface rainbows and caddis dooped browns.
  19. so....how many guides are there in calgary? is it even worth it to get involved? with so many guides, with names already made, why would anyone choose a nameless faceless newbie? (no offense) which brings me to another point. when are we gonna implement some sort of regulation on guiding so that not just anyone can decide one day to be a guide. i bet most guides here just row the boat 15 feet from shore all day. there should be a certain amount of knowledge needed to justify the $500 a day fee most charge. devise an exam that would determine the anglers knowledge of the river and its insects lifecycle. cause even my little sister could recite the bows hatch chart. dont get me wrong, ive seen many expert anglers come outta the bow. ive been on many floats and ive seen the skill and knowledge first hand. these are guides i consider to be worthy of being called so.
  20. yup...theres only one brown with a blue spot, and thats him. ive seen him up around little red too! you can tell its him....cause hes the only one with a blue spot on his cheek!! the only one......
  21. really good point man. ive only ever fished a double rig. and i always keep my heavy fly on the bottom for that exact reason. my gramps told me this when i was 7, and he never had scuba gear. but he also laughed at my indicator, and said, "graphite....use bamboo boy!".
  22. nevermind, i just saw some pics. no wonder everybody talks aboot it. ill have to check it out this summer.
  23. because of the hundreds of posts about bullshead, im gong to assume it a great fishery....yes?
